Job Description

NetApp’s Cloud Innovation Center TLV develops advanced and impactful SaaS products in partnership with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, solving the world’s most critical and complex challenges global organizations face when transitioning data and workloads to the cloud.

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect Manager to join our Data Services  team.

Essential Functions

People Management: 
  • Hire new CSA talent and significantly grow the team strength across geographies. 
  • Facilitate the team's day-to-day activities, removing obstacles to enhance execution efficiency. 
  • Act as a key escalation point for the CSA team and external stakeholders, balancing priorities across product, support, and field initiatives. 
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and quarterly performance evaluations, along with managing recognition processes. 
  • Develop and maintain critical internal processes that support the CSA team's functions. 
  • Identify and address systemic issues that hinder the team's effectiveness.

    Business Alignment: 
  • Cultivate and expand strategic partnerships with essential business stakeholders, including sales, support, engineering, and product management teams. 
  • Conduct gap analyses to align team capabilities with business requirements, and devise training and risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Document and track CSA team roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and SLOs, ensuring accountability and visibility to leadership. 
  • Align the CSA team with key business success metrics and ensure their contributions are acknowledged. 
Product/Technical Leadership: 
  • Engage with top customers to develop strategies that bolster NetApp's value and presence in key accounts. 
  • Lead CSA involvement in product planning, representing customer perspectives as well as providing technical and industry expertise. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to set strategic direction for the CVO product and guarantee CSA alignment, enablement, and implementation. 
  • Oversee technical direction and management of programs that the CSA team directly runs to promote product growth. 

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • At least 7 years of experience in either Post-Sales, Technical Customer Success, or Professional Services role.
  • Proven experience (+3 years) in managing technical teams within cloud computing, enterprise IT or a related field, with globally dispersed teams.
  • Deep understanding of cloud services, industry standards, and technical acumen to guide product strategy, with hands-on experience with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).  
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team, while managing performance and employee development. 
  • Customer obsession demonstrated building a strong understanding of customer problems and building capabilities that help resolve their pain points.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder management (customers, internal cross-functional teams and external partner teams). 
  • Ownership mentality – demonstrated end to end ownership, accountability, and a desire to lead from the front when required to achieve the desired outcome.  
  • Data-driven mindset, leveraging various data sources to make informed decisions. 
  • Proven experience developing and overseeing internal and external business processes. 
  • Experience with NetApp ONTAP or equivalent enterprise data storage solutions – advantage.
